By using MageArgus (the “Service”), operated by W3ctrl Services, you agree to these terms.
1. Acceptable use
MageArgus is a defensive security tool. The free passive scan only requests publicly available pages. Active checks — open-port scanning and aggressive probing — may only be run against domains you own or are explicitly authorised to test. You must not use the Service to attack, overload or gain unauthorised access to systems you do not control.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide a valid, verifiable email address.
3. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is”. A clean scan does not guarantee a store is secure, and findings are provided for informational purposes. You remain responsible for securing your own systems.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, W3ctrl Services is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
5. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or discontinue features at any time.
6. Professional services
Remediation, development and other services offered by W3ctrl Services are subject to separate agreements.
